Hi, Imperfect Parent!
I'm Anna, and I made this kit for you.
Like many parents, I wanted to raise a curious, open child. But I caught myself doing the opposite — guiding how to do things "properly," correcting small mistakes, accidentally teaching that there's always a right way.
My son started handling frustration badly, naturally seeking perfection in everything. Sound familiar?
Then one day, we were playing with Play-Doh together. On a whim, I made the most lopsided, ridiculous cake on purpose — and something clicked. He laughed. He made one even wonkier. Suddenly "wrong" became the game.
That moment became this kit.
You don't need to use this kit perfectly. (That would really miss the point, wouldn't it?) Some activities will flop. Some days your child won't be interested. Some of your comments will accidentally be judgy.
That's okay. That's imperfect. That's being a parent.
You're already doing great.
